What is 12 Stones?
Twelve Stones is a family integrated and multi-generational ministry of Paso Robles Bible Church. Our philosophy is to provide a ministry environment where empty nesters of all ages, single adults, and families with their children can worship, learn, grow, and fellowship at the same time and in the same integrated setting. In this way neither the family unit nor the broader church family is segregated by age in the ministry setting.

The '12 Stones' name
from Joshua 4
the LORD spoke to Joshua saying...
"Take up for yourselves twelve stones out of the Jordan, from the place where the priests' feet are standing firm, and carry them over with you and lay them down"
Then Joshua said to the sons of Israel, "When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, "What are these stones?' then you shall teach your children, saying, "Israel crossed this Jordan on dry ground.' "For the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed, just as the LORD your God had done to the Red Sea, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the LORD is mighty, so that you may fear the LORD your God forever."
12 Stones desires to be a community of families committed to teaching the commandments of Jesus to our children so we all may 'fear the LORD our God forever'.

Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. Likewise urge the young men to be sensible; in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.
